You will want to have a buyer's agent representing you in order to protect your best interests during the home purchasing process. There is no additional cost to you as a buyer for this service. I am paid by the seller on resale property and by the developer on new construction. The price of new construction is the same whether you have representation or not. Don't be fooled into thinking that the agent who is showing you a home is representing you. They may be representing the seller. I will fully outline my duties to you in an agency agreement. Together, we will evaluate your needs and goals in order to locate properties that fit your specific criteria. Before making an offer on a resale property, I will provide you with a comparative market analysis so you are confident that you are not paying too much. I will thoroughly explain the entire purchase and sales agreement including closing costs to you prior to you signing.

It often takes a professional to successfully negotiate a purchase and sales agreement, particularly if there are multiple offers. Once the contract is successfully negotiated there are many services I will provide in order to ensure a smooth closing. These services include but are not limited to; arranging for and being present at homeowner's inspection and wood destroying organism inspection, assistance with obtaining a lender, providing the necessary documents to the title company and scheduling the closing, arranging a walk through and accompanying you to the closing.
